Connection setup

Tell the panel how to reach Odoo and its database, then sign in. The database details are here too so you can still sign in with emergency access when Odoo is down. Other options appear after you sign in.

Odoo

The address of your Odoo and the database to back up.

Odoo address Include the port, e.g. http://localhost:8069 Database

Database access

Used when the panel works on its own (no Odoo backup module) and for emergency sign-in. Leave the user blank to try the usual accounts automatically; leave host/port/password blank to use the local defaults.

Host Port User Password Leave blank to keep the current value.

Backup target

Where the database lives. Local: the panel runs on the same machine as Odoo. Remote (SSH): the panel reaches the database over SSH; the database settings above then refer to the remote machine.
